This mug is about 5 inches wide, including handle, and 4 inches tall. While it was still in its clay state, I applied a black underglaze and then carved stripes through the underglaze to reveal the white clay underneath. This is called sgraffito. A clear glaze was placed over the black underglaze to make it shiny. The inside and top  rim have a blue glaze with raspberry drips. This mug is comfortable to hold and lightweight.
