This mug is about 4.5 inches tall and 3.75 inches wide not including the handle. The inside is glazed with a drippy blue glaze. The outside was painted with a black underglaze while still in the clay state and then a design was carved through to reveal the clay underneath - this is called the sgraffito technique. The clay body itself is white and the outside has a clear glaze over it.
